Why Camp Matters

Have you ever thought about why camp is important in the lives of our children? Not just Opportunity Camp, but camps in general? In recent years, a research project was done that asked students to rank the most memorable moments in their lives. Camp was ranked #2 in the study--only behind a spiritual conversion experience.
Wow! That’s a big deal!
In a day and age that is full of TV, entertainment and video games--nothing that we can create digitally can compare to the power of people in the lives of our students! So if you haven’t thought about it lately, why don’t you take a minute and pray for the people who are running the camps you grew up at--and pray for us at Opportunity camp!
